CARLOS QUINTERO, MD

I obtained my medical degree and specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics, both from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. I completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA. In December 2019, I received the official recognition as a specialist in Reproductive Medicine from Universidad del Valle, becoming one of only four specialists in Colombia with official recognition by the Ministry of National Education.

I had the honor of coordinating the first Assisted Reproduction program established in Cali, Colombia. I have over 25 years of clinical experience as a hormone specialist in Cali. I am currently a postgraduate professor in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the School of Medicine at Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, in the area of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. I have practiced as a member of the Reproductive Medicine Unit at Clínica Imbanaco since 1999, specializing in hormone treatment in Cali. I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and a founding member of the Colombian Association of Gynecological and Reproductive Endocrinology (Acegyr).

I have published several scientific articles in international journals and have participated as a speaker at various academic meetings both nationally and internationally.
